Information Technology Director, Mildred Wall Tatsukawa

Ms. Wall Tatsukawa was born and raised in Gallup graduating from Gallup High School. She earned a BA from New Mexico State University in Family Counseling. A degree which helps her with her people oriented approach to the information technology systems.

She has been with the County for 25 years, starting in the Assessor’s office and later transferring to the IT department as an assistant computer operator. She has learned computer operations and has honed her skills on the job and through various training that she has attended.

Mission Statement

With information technology services being essential to virtually every county government function, our mission is to work with other County Departments and agencies in determining their technology needs and working within the constraints of the approved budget, providing assistance and on-going support in the use of those technologies. We strive to provide superior quality service and support to County Departments and Employees and to comply with regulations, requirements and government policy directives, implement new ideas, technologies, policies, standards, and practices to improve workflow efficiencies in governmental services for the benefit of all taxpayers.
