McKinley County Mourns the Loss of Deputy Christopher Tsosie

The McKinley County Sheriff’s Office is grieving the loss of one of our own; Deputy Christopher Tsosie who passed away on January 25, 2017.


Deputy Tsosie was a veteran officer of 14 years. He worked with Navajo Nation Police Department for 13 years and 1 year with the McKinley County Sheriff’s Office, where he served with pride and dignity. The Sheriff's Office lost an outstanding Deputy and a great person, he will be greatly missed.


Deputy Tsosie will be given full Police Honors. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Rehoboth Christian School Gymnasium. Burial will follow immediately after the services at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Please contact the McKinley County Sheriff's Office at (505) 863-1410 for more information.
