Several archaeological sites here record the presence of the Anasazi, a prehistoric farming culture that developed and persisted in the area from 300 to 1200 CE. From 1700 to the present, members of the Navajo tribe have sparsely inhabited the region. Through interpretive exhibits, the Red Rock Museum chronicles the lives and culture of the Anasazi as well as the present-day Zuni, Hopi and Navajo. The Museum houses permanent displays of Kachinas, pottery, rugs, silver, and turquoise as well as traveling art exhibits.

The Red Rock Park Museum will open to the public starting in August 2021.

Red Rock Park Convention Center will not be open to Events until August 2021. The Red Rock Park Office will start accepting new event requests on July 19th, 2021 for the remainder of the 2021 year. If you'd like to book an event for the 2022 calendar year, event bookings will open on November 1st, 2021. Please call the park office for more information.
